My kids (Tiffanie included) have purchased their first home in central Riverside. I am so very excited, they found an amazing deal in a wonderful, mature, well established quiet neighborhood. A corner lot too! They are probably the youngest owners in the area. Today started the hard work of cleaning and personalizing their new home. My son is hard at work removing the old “popcorn” type ceiling, opening walls, knocking down concrete enclosures, cleaning and keeping the girls busy busy busy (that includes me) I will be keeping a photo journal of their progress and hard work here. I am so very excited and look forward to the many invitations to their summer BBQ’s (did I mention they have a pool?) Congrats to Buddy, Rachel And Tiff, (CJ too!)

CJ wanted his ATV to go with us today and my truck was packed out with bikes and cleaning products….

CJ LOVEs my 1970 Ford F250 truck (40 years old) and insists on riding with me when I drive it, he tells me “faster grandma…faster”
It has a BIG BLOCK and open exhaust so it appeals to “boyz!”

CJ thought this was sooooooooooooooooo funny

CJ being silly with Aunt T

That front block wall will be coming down soon to expose the front of the house, it will have wonderful curb appeal

The master bath/wardrobe area, two sinks and two mirrors….Perfect!

2.27.2010 Saturday
Today was the BIG painting party at the BRAT – we had a big group of friends show up to help, it was the best way to paint an entire house in a few hours.
I LOVE the neighborhood and quiet streets of their neighborhood………
C.J. didn’t waste any time locating all the puddles…….
The very large dining room – Can’t wait for Thanksgiving!
Robert the homebuilder
For anyone who does not know my grandson (C.J.) don’t freak on this image….he asked for this repeatedly, so he could practice his escape skills.
This baby Houdini did well…as you will see in the next few images.
He loved it, no HUMANs were injured in the making of this blog!
He removed the tape on his mouth first, escaped the hands and then the feet in record time!
He is sooooo smart
Tiff and Uncle Mike (looking at a light?)
Pizza time
Tad (Tiff’s brother) asks “has anyone seen C.J.”?
Steven says “He’s with me”………
another hostage wrap
how is it that this comes completely natural to a boy?
My precious grandson C.J.!
